    Stonewall Institute

    Stonewall Institute Addiction Treatment Services

Rome wasn’t built in a day. Your recovery, much like the city of Rome, will take time to build. It took years of active addiction and struggle to get to a place of needing help, and it will likely take a period of time to unravel unhealthy patterns of behavior in order to help you recover. It is our belief at Stonewall Institute that abstinence from drugs and alcohol is only a small piece of recovery. The true recovery comes when we can face ourselves as we really are, uncover core issues that may be contributing to our substance use, and then utilize a new design for living which will help us to experience a fulfilling sober life, at peace with ourselves and others. For this reason, we have designed the following 3 stages which we believe are pertinent in helping people to fully recover from alcohol and drug addiction.

     Phase I

Stage II- Trauma & Core Issues of Recovery- 8 Weeks

    ·         Group 1 Day per week

    ·         Individual 1 Day per week

    ·         Duration: 8 Weeks

Stage III- Spirituality & Long-Term Recovery- 8 Weeks

    ·         Group 1 Day per week

    ·         Individual 1 Day per week

    ·         Screening & Assessment

    ·         Individual Counseling 1 Day per week

    ·         Duration: ongoing as determined

    Phase II

    ·         Screening & Assessment (not necessary if transitioning from Phase I)

    ·         Group 3 Days per week

    ·         Individual Counseling 1 Day per week

    ·         Multi-Family Group 1 Day per week

    ·         Transport to 3 AA/NA meetings per weeks

    ·         Duration: 8 Weeks

Stage I- Addiction Remission- 8 Weeks
