    MISSION STATEMENT 

     

     

    Axis Residential Treatment Center offers a serine picturesque residential setting located in Indian Wells, California surrounded by the breath taking San Jacinto Mountains just outside of Palm Springs.

     

    Our mission is to implement the 12-step program for food, drug addiction and alcoholism which is individually tailored to meet our client’s needs addressing their underlined issues while incorporating integrity and accountability to assure the comfort, safety and well being of each client.  Our exclusive private state license facility is lead by a team of professional physicians, physiatrists and counselors with well over 200 years of experience in the field of addiction.

    DETOX

      

    Many clients need detoxification from drugs or alcohol, the process of detoxification is different for each client.

     

    The Axis residential Medical Director will provide an assessment to determine the appropriate care for each patient upon arrival.  The Assessment is based on the client’s history, drug of choice, length of use, age and mental status.

     

    The focus for Axis Resident Treatment Center is to make the detoxification as comfortable and smooth as possible for the patient so that the process of their foundation towards a new life can begin.

     

    We detox patients from a wide variety of substances such as all forms of Opiates, Azepines, Methamphetamines, Cocaine and Alcohol as well as a variety of prescription medications and all forms of food addictions.

    ADMISSIONS

    We admit clients who fit the following criteria:

     

    • Adults 18 years or older
    • Accept 0ne resident (at a time) under the age of 18
    • Have history of, or current behavior of drinking, chemical  substance abuse, gambling and eating disorders
    • Physically able to participate in various aspects of the treatment programs

    All client assessments are conducted in-depth.  The admissions process is comprehensive, so that the treatment team may create a personalized and effective treatment plan for each client. 

     

    AFTERCARE

    Discharge from Axis Residential Treatment Center is really the beginning rather than the ending.  When the client is ready to reintegrate into society, the treatment team will facilitate the aftercare plan, allowing for a smooth transition and optimized long-term recovery.  At Axis we understand the importance of continuing to meet the client’s needs after discharge and part of that is identifying the client and client’s family needs during the admission process.

     

    Although the client has finished treatment, recovery is a long-term process and it is imperative that the client transitions into a sober living environment.  It is also encouraged for the client to participate in the Axis Alumni programs.
